LAKESIDE THEATRE WRITERS: BUT WHAT’S IT REALLY ABOUT?

Mon 02 Dec

So you have an idea for a play and maybe you’ve begun writing scenes, characters or dialogue.  But what’s it really about?  This practical, interactive workshop examines what’s going on beneath the surface of your play, the stuff you really want your audiences to engage with.

Lakeside Theatre Writers is a group which meets monthly during term time.  Led by Lakeside Theatre Associate Artist Andrew Burton, it offers a safe, supportive and challenging space where you can explore your dramatic writing potential.  Open to all levels of experience – and none! – you are welcome to come to as many or as few sessions as you want.  Supportive atmosphere.  Great coffee.  Brilliant way to develop your ideas and connect with other playwrights and aspiring playwrights.

Individual workshop £20 / free to University of Essex Students and alumni
3 workshop package:  £49.98 / free to University of Essex Students and alumni
