In response to the 50th Anniversary of the University of Essex, and with the support of the Essex Fund, the Lakeside Theatre mounted a year-long project: Home From Home and made 50 plays about the 50 years of life at Essex.
The plays ranged from micro dramas and site specific installations to radio plays and street theatre.
