A free audio drama production workshop for University of Essex students.

Listening to the radio in Britain is now at its highest level since records began, with 48.38 million listening each week, and digital podcasting is also on the up; the potential audience for audio drama is huge.  Equip yourself with audio drama skills by joining the Lakeside Theatre and Frequency Theatre’s new audio drama enterprise for students of the University of Essex: OPERATION LAKESIDE. Soon to be producing regular plays made by student actors, directors, playwrights and sound technicians. To learn how YOU could take part, come along to our FREE WORKSHOP on the 8^th November at the Lakeside Theatre, where the participants will learn introductory skills in all areas of audio drama and produce pieces of work which will be shared at the end of the day.
