When a woman becomes ill after the birth of her child she is told to rest and “have but two hours of intellectual life a day” in order to get better. In a desperate attempt to hold on to her sanity and fight off her depression she writes a diary about her time locked away from the world. But as she focuses on recovering, it seems the house doesn’t want to let her go…
