Act Like an Actor is a two-day workshop designed by Danie Mac, an Actor, Writer, Director, Acting Coach, Drama School Graduate, and recent Drama School Audition Panellist who’s had her work shown at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and had her recent role in a film (coming out later this year) gaining her an IMDb page.

This workshop is for anyone working towards their goal of working as a professional actor who wants to broaden their knowledge and develop their skills in all things acting to give them the best chance at making it in the industry.

Within the 2 days, you will work with Danie in a small ensemble and one-to-one on: How to improve and develop your basic skills (body & voice), How to tackle text, The secrets to auditioning, self-taping (including a self-tape filmed, and edited for you), how to make your own work, self-employment, marketing yourself and where to find work. You will also be given information packs on everything you will have covered or need to get your foot in that door.

The sessions are 9 am-5 pm on both days and there is limited space available!
