Fall down the rabbit hole this December! Don’t miss ‘Alice in Wonderland,’ the Theatre Arts Society’s whimsical Christmas pantomime.
Join Alice as she goes up against the Queen of Hearts, attempts to escape Wonderland, and tries to put up with the strange creatures she meets along the way.
As the Queen of Hearts tightens her grip on the land, the fate of its people lies in the hands of Alice, a first year university student. Follow her as she attempts to make sense of the strange land she has fallen into with its rude rabbits, creepy cats and singing sovereigns.
On her way Alice meets a number of wonderful characters that you might have already heard of. The Citizens of Wonderland are banding together to avoid being captured by the Queen and her henchmen. All Alice can hope is that by defeating the Queen, she might finally be able to return back to university and never again have to ensure the personalities of Wonderland.
First year students struggle to cook their dinners, so it should already be clear to you that Alice might have some trouble trying to overthrow a monarchy. That’s why Dame Cotton-Tail, Tweedle Dee, Tweedle Dum, the Mad Hatter and the Caterpillar will need your help to bring happiness to a land that is no longer so wonderful, it would be a shame to expect all of this from Alice on her own. So we’ll need you to sing, boo, shout and clap along to whatever you can think of throughout the show.
