Here’s your opportunity to visit some of the many galleries, arts venues and theatres in town, meet new friends and get to know Colchester. We are offering University of Essex students a free trip into town to see exhibitions, meet curators and artists, hang out with designers and even make an artwork of your own. There’ll be beer & chips, jelly, sculptures, shop discounts, free tickets to future events and goodybags! Hurry! Places on our minibus are limited.
Activities include firstsite’s Hammer Prints exhibition, the Minories gallery show of the work of artist Ron Sims, a catch up at the newly renovated cultural hub 15 Queen Street, plus a free ticket to the Lakeside Theatre’s show The 14th Tale at 7.30pm.
Meet up at Art Exchange at 3pm and our mini bus will take you into Colchester and back. Seating limited, so booking essential!
