The Lakeside Theatre’s Andrew Burton is joined by Colchester-based Frequency Theatre’s Rich Chilver for a fascinating workshop which investigates the potential uses of sound in dramatic writing. During the session, you will hear an unforgettable excerpt from an award-winning play and do a writing exercise or two yourself. This workshop will provide you with a whole new way of looking at how sound can feature in your writing for performance and will look the various applications of this work – from theatre writing, radio writing, audio drama writing and writing for online platforms.
