Two men share a messy flat: Francesco, an aspirant writer, and Fausto, an aspirant filmmaker. Already thirty years old, they struggle to emerge from the crowd, but, strenuously, they keep up their dreams. Escaping all daily responsibilities and economic problems seems to be the only demanding task in their flat and uncomplicated lives.
However, in just two days, their lives will be turned upside-down. A middle-class girlfriend, an obsessive mother, an exorcist, a federal agent and a beautiful actress, will all have a little, but fundamental impact on their lives.
Inspired by rock, cinema and the “Theatre of The Absurd”, Prosaic Poems explores different theatrical genres and gives new life to a number to pre-existing characters of World Literature. Brilliant dialogues and surreal situation are combined together in order to produce a brave apology of the Arts.
