We love sharing our ideas. The rise of robot warriors, how we can save our planet and the fight for our rights– these are just some of the issues being tackled at our first-ever TEDx event.
We have 99 places available for students and staff at the University of Essex.
You’ll have the chance to watch live mini-lectures from our leading academics plus award-winning Masters student Yasmin Afina, who spoke at the United Nations earlier this year.
There will also be screenings of outstanding TED talks from around the world which reflect the themes of our own TEDx programme.
We hope you’ll be really excited about taking part, but we do need to remind you that TEDx guidelines mean the audience is asked to stay for the whole TEDx event.
If you don’t manage to book a place, don’t worry, we will be live streaming the event.
