CRIME AND PUNISHMENT

Wed 17 Feb - Fri 19 Feb

By Fyodor Dostoevsky. Adapted for the stage by Chris Hannan.

Surrounded by the stench of poverty and drunkards in the city, a law student commits two brutal murders. As his conscience begins to get the better of him, he is confronted by the suspicions of a playful examining magistrate and the redemptive love of a downtrodden prostitute. But will Raskolnikov face his punishment?

A Lakeside Theatre Homegrown Show directed by Manwah Siu and Dan Shambrook for the University of Essex Theatre Arts Society.
