Shane Shambhu, Complicite Associate, delivers a unique workshop to students and practitioners from dance, theatre, writing or other areas of the creative arts interested in the process of transferring ideas and material from the page to the stage.

Drawing on his recent experience of working with award-winning University of Essex based writer, Jonathan Lichtenstein, this workshop tackles the ways in which to translate and transpose text-based ideas and works to create strong emotionally impactful and dramatic tension into the stage space stemming from the text.

The event is presented in conjunction with the performance of Shane’s brand new solo piece My Inside Playground on Friday 13 May. Discounts are available when booked with the show.
