Blueprint invites University of Essex students and members of the public to a ‘scratch night event’ filled with exciting, raw, and experimental contemporary theatre. The event hosted by Lakeside Theatre Associate Artist Che Kevlin will present a section of his current project titled Nostalgia2012. The short performance will take the audience through an abstract landscape of memories, dreams, and nightmares to convey the story of Violence, Loss, Redemption, and Love. The night will also include new work from current MA students of Goldsmiths University of London, presenting a series of short devised experimental pieces. A feedback session following the performances will offer the audience a chance to discuss the works in an informal atmosphere, providing crucial insight into the various creative processes adopted by the artists.
