Join PhD Creative Writing student, Emma Kittle in our studio for a facilitated creative writing workshop.
This workshop is for anyone with an interest in writing, you don’t need to be studying creative writing to take part.
The aim of these workshops is to tell your stories. Beginning with a theme, we will talk, write from life, read and practise using various forms and structures (including flash fiction, poetry or experimental writing techniques) and look at ways of using our stories in autofiction.
Emma Kittle writes short fiction for performance, and is submitting a novel as part of her PhD in Creative Writing in the Department of LiFTS. She works as a Fixed Term Teacher in LiFTS, as a Creative Writing Teacher at ACL Essex and at a primary school, as well as on projects for Essex Book Festival including Manifesto for Essex, Spoken Word Power and the National Saturday Club.
This workshop is the third of three Creative Writing Workshops this term. Come along to this one or book on to all three! The other dates are:
Open to anyone but please book as spaces are limited.
