A four-day showcase of theatrical productions by final year Drama students in the Department of Literature, Film and Theatre Studies at the University of Essex.
Back live at the Lakeside Theatre for the third year, the Launch Festival showcases the independent projects of final-year undergraduate students – part of the University’s commitment to nurturing creative talent and intellectual inquisitiveness.
The projects showcased will feature theatrical productions, including: text-based drama, physical theatre, original new work, and film screenings, all live at the Lakeside Theatre.
You are welcome to join us in the Lakeside Theatre for Launch Festival, the events are free with no booking required and events will run from 2pm to around 10pm (with a break 5pm to 6pm) daily, Tuesday 16 to Friday 19 May.
