MY NAME IS RACHEL CORRIE

Fri 22 May - Sat 23 May

Why did a 23-year-old woman leave her comfortable American life to stand between a bulldozer and a Palestinian home? From the words she left behind, My Name is Rachel Corrie tells the story of the young American activist killed on March 16, 2003, as she tried to block the demolition of a Palestinian family’s home in the Gaza Strip.

Part of the Lakeside Theatre Homegrown Shows scheme, our programme that supports current University of Essex Students to produce work in the Lakeside Theatre Studio.

Directed by Richard Hornsby.
