It’s back! Can you make a play in a week? If you’re aged 7-16 Lakeside Theatre wants you to come and try this Summer!

Starting from scratch with no script, no characters and no props you’ll work alongside professional theatre makers to create a brand new performance in just one week. You’ll develop a range of performance and technical theatre skills, make new friends and have a lot of fun in the process.

Play In A Week will be running from Tuesday 28th July – Saturday 1st August, 10am-4pm at Lakeside Theatre. There’s even a breakfast club from 8:30am – 10:00am where you can hang out and have breakfast with the rest of the team before each session.

Places for Play In A Week are limited to 40 maximum and we sold out quickly last year. Book early to avoid disappointment!

Prices

First child: £100

Sibling(s): £60

These prices can be paid in two instalments of 50%, simply choose the relevant tickets when paying.  Buying the first instalment guarantees your place until Monday July 20 and we’ll contact you to make the second payment instalments before that date. Instalment payments are not available after this date as we need to have confirmed number by this point.

Breakfast Club: £2.

This can be bought on the day. We’ll provide cereals. Please let us know of any dietary requirements. Breakfast clubbers can be dropped off anytime between 8:30-10am (the earlier the better so they get a chance to eat!)

Bursaries

We have a small number of Bursaries available which cover 50% of your total costs. These are available by application,  download the Play in a Week Bursary Form 2015 and submit by Monday 13 July.
