STREAMING

Thu 05 Mar

Streaming intertwines the stories of three people in turmoil to create a cutting portrait of contemporary life, sexual objectification and paternal failure in this brand new show from Cornwall based company, Pipeline Theatre.

Rosa is 15, privately educated and privileged. But after the death of her mother and the breakdown of her father, she finds herself in reduced circumstances, seeking solace in the friendship of her reclusive new neighbour, Candy, web-camming in her bedroom. With immersive sound design, a shape-shifting, translucent set, projection, puppetry, and an interwoven, dark, Wizard of Oz idiom, Streaming is a rite-of-passage story for the modern age.
