ZERO POINT

Thu 13 Feb

Fresh from his recent artist in residency in Japan, award winning choreographer and multi-disciplinary artist Darren Johnston returns to Lakeside Theatre to develop and preview his brand new work.

Zero Point fuses projected imagery and motion sensor technology with movement inspired by sacred ceremonial spaces, eastern ideas of rebirth and the connection between spiritual and scientific interpretations of the zero point theory. Presented tonight as a work in progress, the piece will then transfer to the main stage at the Barbican, London on 8 March.

Johnston has gained notoriety for his controversial, multifaceted work which blurs the boundaries between dance, theatre, music and visual art. Join him tonight for an unveiling of his brand new work.
