Professor Simon Weidenholzer
Department of Economics
Imitating the choices of others can appear to be an attractive way to make economic decisions. Yet, there may be circumstances where imitating others doesn’t deliver the best outcomes.
In his talk Professor Weidenholzer will use coordination problems, encountered in a variety of human interactions, and online trading to showcase the implications of imitation learning for individuals and societies at large.
Followed by a drinks reception in the Lakeside Theatre Cafe.
